CARIBBEAN REEF CLUB COUPLES ADVENTURE 2000
Our last trip was a huge success! A truly
wonderful time was had by all who went with us. Check back often
for updates on trip plans and for pictures and comments from
those who were in attendance for the 2000 trip.
Off to the Caribbean Reef Club we go. We had a 6am flight Sunday
morning so we went straight from the club to the New Orleans
airport. We had an uneventful flight. Our cab was waiting for us
at the airport and in 30 minutes we were at the Reef club. We
checked in and went straight to the room and crashed. I woke at
11 and headed for the pool. The weather was great. I met a lot of
great people. Pee Wee finally came out of the room and we went
and had coffee, talked to a few people ant then crashed again.
We had a beach party the first night. They had tables set up
under the full moon on the beach and served a variety of salads
and BBQ food. Then off to the Disco for dancing. We heard that
the group the night before had broken the dance floor pole. Then
off to the hot tub and lots of foreplay, at 3am we figured out
that foreplay was all we were up to and went to bed.
I was up catching rays long before Pee Wee. When he finally arose
we had breakfast and then back to the pool. Where we met sexysquirter.com and janey.com and their mates. We had a great
afternoon with them and have already made plans to see them in
September in New Orleans. We all went and had lunch together.
Then back to the pool. Siesta lasted till time for dinner. We had
great food and Pee Wee must have danced with every lady there.
Then it was off to the hot tub where we met a couple and went to
the room for sexersize. (gotta work off the great food somehow)
Another day in the sun, the snorkel boat was full of couples
going out to the reef. It was a really great day. We played
around the pool all day. I met my tequila buddy, who was doing
slammers all day. By the last day the bartender was fixing his
shooters in a pitcher. After dinner and dancing we headed to the
hot tub only to find it had broken down. What to do what to do?
We had a toy show by the pool where sexysquirter discovered she
brought batteries but no toys. We decided to move back to the
disco closer to the bar. With everyone drinking Italian Mud
slides, I brought out B's sex dice, actions on one die and body
parts on the other. There were about 12 couples who decided they
were game for the gamble. The person with the dice picked a
victim then rolled the dice. A new couple just arriving joined
us. It was sexysquirter's turn and she wanted to give the
new guy a turn. She rolled the dice and gave him a video quality
blow job in the middle of the dance floor. It was applauded by
everyone, a standing ovation. After that what could we do but
take it to the rooms.
Another day in the sun. The word is the hot tub will be fixed
tonight. What can I say it was in the pool out of the pool all
day long. We had dinner and dancing and everyone was eager to get
to the hot tub. It was a full tub when we arrived. Of course the
new guy wanted to know where the dice were. We really enjoyed the
tub that night and the events that followed.
Time to pack so I can lay out in the sun. It was another great
day around the pool, my buddy and I were doing 1800 shots and Pee
Wee had to cut me so we could get on the plane, funny they let
you get drunk on a plane but they won't let you on a plane drunk.
My buddy almost cried when we said good bye (maybe it was the
1800) and they are planing a trip down from Canada to cum see us
at the club.
We hated to leave but we had to get back to the real world. At
the airport we met 3 couples from the MS coast all on our flight.
It really is a small world.

Dear Gail and Peewee, Thank heavens you showed
up at CRC. You made our vacation. You also brought the sunshine
with you. You asked that we give you a report on the resort and
here it is.
The first five days we were there, the weather was lousy so that
tends to put a damper on things. But even with that we found the
resort very pleasant. There is very little to do when the weather
is bad, but fortunately we had a rental car. we were able to see
ruins and parks nearby.
The resort is first class. We found the rooms very large and
comfortable. Ours had a kitchen that was useless (why a kitchen
at an all inclusive?). Meals are excellent. Language barrier with
the waiters is sometimes a problem, but they are great people and
strive heartily to help.
Once the weather cleared, everything was better. The crowd seems
to coalesce at the pool. Everyone is most friendly there. We met
and befriended every couple at the resort.
Several comments and suggestions. 1) Try to institute a happy
hour each evening at about 6:30. This would have some small eats
(like nachos and chicken fingers). This would enable everyone to
socialize before dinner. It should be in the bar not the dining
room. 2)Try to set up two or three excursions per week for
couples wanting to do something. (trips to Talum, Akumal or Coba
etc.). This wouldn't be too expensive if shared by three or so
couples. 3)Work on the language barrier at meals. Have all meals
listed both in english and spanish and that would enable the
guests to better convey their needs to the waiters.
The resort as a whole is great. We would definitely do it again.
Great seeing you guys. Hope to be in your area soon. S sends her
best

Pee Wee & Gail,
Here are some of the better photo's. We had a great time at Caribbean Reef Club like usual. Of course things livened up when you got there. You two do make a great host & Hostess. Enjoy the pictures. G. thinks one of the ones of Gail's back would make a great poster!

Hi Gail and Pee Wee,
Just a quick note from the Canadians that you met last August.
We are back from a great 10 days at CRC. Feb. weather down there
is a bit cooler than in August but just as sunny, a lot more
windy, very little in the way of rain(no wiped out days - 20 min
here and there at the worst).
Hurricane Mitch did have some effects on CRC even though it never
really serious threatened the Yucatan. -Honeymoon Point is gone,
most of the rocks and dirt dispersed by the intense storm surge.
-The beach in front of the CRC has had the majority of the sand
from waters edge forced up towards the CRC beach entrances and
exposing the underlying rack structure along the waters edge. The
Mayan Love Pool area wasn't affected and is the only real area in
front of the CRC where you can get into the ocean without
seriously battling rocks of all sizes underfoot. -A few of the
big palm trees suffered but I expect by August most will re grow
what was damaged.
Some minor changes in the wait staff, but true CRC fashion we
were pampered the whole time. The place was fully booked for a
couple of days surrounding Valentines Day and at dinner times in
got to be a long wait from appetizers to main course. They are
really not yet set up properly to have the number of guests at
one time to the maximum.
Some new marketing strategy for CRC - they are selling day passes
to the place (to like minded couples) staying up at the other
hotels in the Cancun Hotel Zone - all the benefits of the CRC for
the day just no accommodation. I have mixed feelings about the
approach but it helps them bring in some more money to improve
the place for all guests.
Lots more lounge chairs around the pool and YES (most) now have
cushioned covers !!!! Hopefully other improvements on
the way, at least according to Ray and Charles.
Spent one full day off site an hour and a bit down the peninsula
at a nature/water park called XEL-HA, fantastic time only
$15/head entrance for the whole day, food prices at the various
concessions and restaurants was again most reasonable.
All in all, nothing disappointing and like the feeling we were
left with last summer, would do it again in a heartbeat.
How are things going for you guys !

Now that's dressed for eating
Hello Gail and Pee Wee,
Wanted to thank you for making us feel very welcomed last week at
the Caribbean Reef Club . It was a new experience for me and I
was quite comfortable in the beautiful surroundings. Though the
trip was short I enjoyed it so much that I want to go back again
and stay longer the next time.
The rooms were very nice and the view from the balcony was
breathtaking. The wait staff treated me like royalty and the food
was mouthwatering. It's been a shock to come back to the states
and find that I have to do the cooking, cleaning, laundry, and
lawn work myself. Boy do I miss Martin!
The hotel went that extra mile in providing every room with
plenty of bottle water to insure that we wouldn't get sick. The
cooks bent over backwards to provide a wide variety of food at
each meal. Paul from Wetset
was friendly and informative when it came to snorkeling and scuba
diving. This time I learned to snorkel, maybe next time I will
learn to scuba dive.
I enjoyed being away from the usual tourist traps and attractions
that come with staying on the strip in Cancun. The beach wasn't
crowded and was quite clean. The people in the town of Puerto
Morelos were extremely friendly and helpful. This is one of the
best kept secrets of Cancun. Let the others stay at hotels packed
with tourists, look for a place to spread out their beach towel,
or find a chaise lounge close to the pool. I will take the laid
back and friendly atmosphere of the Caribbean Reef Club any time.

Guess why we're smiling
Hi Gail and Peewee,
Just thought we would drop you a quick note from the Canadians.
Enjoyed the many conversations with you and had a truly great time. Hats
off to the staff at the Caribbean Reef Club and the management that
made us feel completely relaxed and pampered.
Thought you would like some pics that we took through the week of
memorable moments, please feel free to use for any purpose.
Best Regards
W. and P.W.
Looks like desert is ready to eat
Gail and PeeWee,
We want to thank you for the MOST relaxing week we have ever spent anywhere. The Caribbean Reef Club and is staff provided us with the most wonderful time and service. Their concern for our enjoyment was the most overwhelming experience we have had on a vacation. The food, how can I describe it, was great and the service superb. The beauty of the place, the quite surroundings were what the body needed after the grind of the everyday life here.
The days spent snorkeling and site seeing were fun and very interesting.
The sights around the pool and the hot tub were some of the finest we have ever seen anywhere and the most fun also.
The whole experience is one that we would recommend to each and everyone to experience at least once in life and plan on visiting the Caribbean Reef Club again in the very near future.
Again, thank you for arranging this for the members and give our thanks to the staff and management for a job well done.

Looking forward to the next trip
